This legit shows me that neither "gamers" nor fans can be taken real anymore.

For some backstory, The new Switch 2 (lazy ass name tbh) from nintendo was said to be out soon with a pricetag of around ~450 bucks but if you buy it with the new incomming Mario Kart, it will be 500.

This sounds "ok" for a console price - at least NoWaDaYs - but as Nintendo tried to "show off", the new Switch 2 isnt better than the PS4, a console yet already 12 old.

No HD - only on handheld mode, New games will not be able to run on the already outdated hardware like having way to less RAM inside (so people which thought Monster Hunter WILD will come to that thing, forget it.), 256 GB harddrive (other consoles have already 500 at least...), NO OLED screen but the same OLD LCD screen and more.

So people were already, lets say, "sceptical" about that... but the real bomb was not the console which was already outdated, no, no...

the real bomb were the game and additional tool prices.

- a normal digital version from a game goes for 80 bucks at least.

- the normal, standard "hardcover" versions are 90 bucks - but those come as barebones as literally just a plastic cover + printed cover and nothing more than a chipcard in it which doesnt even HAVE the game on it but a download-key which let you download and play the game digital - than why the F do you even SELL such hardcover versions anyway?

- Extra tools like controllers are in the same price rate with at least like 90+ bucks. NORMAL controllers, no super duper extra versions, normal ones.

What should we even believe in today if people which go literally in rage mode, complain weeks and weeks over prices and that nintendo is basically using its name-fame to do this and people still preorder their stuff, full price, KNOWING of what WILL happen...and some are even going the extra mile and go with "option 2" and pay 700+ bucks for that.

If you thought PC gaming was expensive (which it still is) or you could go to shrug that one off and go play on your xbox or PS5, boi do i have news for you...
